My Experience

I am a clinical psychologist with over 9 years’ experience working in various mental health settings. Most recently I have worked with military veterans experiencing PTSD and trauma-related difficulties, and I have experience in the NHS working with a diverse range of presentations, including psychosis, OCD, anxiety, and depression. I have experience of working with refugees , with complex trauma backgrounds and in doing so have worked with translators and interpreters. I have also worked across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

My main approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) for trauma-focused care. I also draw on third-wave modalities such as Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to meet the unique needs of each individual.

My Commitment to You

Seeking help is not easy and can seem daunting to begin with. I aim to provide my clients with a safe and warm therapeutic space, where we can work together to address your difficulties. I am a firm believer that whilst I have expertise in delivering therapy and treatment, you are the expert in your life and your experiences, and so our work will be collaborative and tailored in a way that is meaningful and right for you.
